I'm a firm believer that engagement sessions should be sweet, simple, and above all, let the love of a couple shine through each image organically. I ventured to Asbury Park New Jersey to capture this intimate, vibrant, and romantic session of Casey & Darius.

Casey, Darius, & Benji strolled the asbury boardwalk with the help of Casey’s brother ( aka the Benji wrangler). The connection between these two was astronomical and I can see why 3 years ago when they met it was meant to be.

Casey & her sister Courtney went to spend a night out on the town together 3 years ago and happened to land themselves in the right place at the right time. At a local bar in Asbury New Jersey Casey & Darius met for the first time thanks to her sister courtney’s fiancé Dom who is best friends with Darius. They hit it off instantly. Darius brought Casey for breakfast at Broadstreet Donuts and when he dropped her off at home the first thing she did was thanked him for breakfast.

Casey & Darius started dating just a week after they met and the rest was history.. In September they moved in together and a short while after they added four paws to their household Benji! Darius & Casey are super family oriented and live within minutes of Casey’s sister Courtney and her fiancé Dom.

Darius put a lot of effort into his proposal to Casey. Although his plan got blown up on a couple of occasions, Darius kept at it and decided to make it one of the most memorable and meaningful proposal’s at that. Darius took Casey to her childhood home last spring for the last time all of her siblings and family would be in the house because it was up for sale. They all were dying Easter eggs together as a family when Darius got down on one knee behind Casey while she opened up a carton of eggs. To her surprise each egg in the carton spelled out the words “ Will you marry me?" - Casey was so taken back and in such awe when she turned around she saw Darius on one knee and of course SHE SAID YES!!!! The couples love story will continue to unfold since they plan to be wed in October of 2020….
