Engagement sessions are my favorite way of getting to know my couples more. I love being able to learn about how they met, and really see their personalities from behind my lens. With that being said it is crystal clear to see the tenacious connection that Mike & Nicole have. Their modish and lovable taste for the city sky line & style really drew in the heart of Hoboken. This session is full of Chic style, sweet strolls, supple moments, and bold love. A big city & big love, What more could you ask for?

Although there has been some speculation by the groom that the couple had met at a frat party, Nicole says they met in college. Mike suffered from an knee injury in college football. Their first date was at the movie theater. Regular first dates are typically a mixture of emotions… For their first date mike was still recovering from his football injury and on crutches. Nothing was stopping him. Mike drove to the movies in his tiny sports car crutches and all. Nicole knew he was a keeper. At that time lots of sweet recouping strolls from surgery for this couple turned into a lifetime together.

The couple has been together now for over 10 years growing and tackling the world together. They are the definition of powerhouse, they are strong minded and ready to take on anything that comes their way. Not only do they share the same birthday they also share the same charming personality traits. All of their inside jokes from date nights over the years and their corky, funny, & playful relationship truly shined through my lens.

October of 2018 the couple spent the weekend in Ohio for a friends wedding. Conveniently this was also where the couple had gone to college. They spent the day together and went for lunch near their old campus. while walking through their old stomping grounds they were photographing and taking pictures in remembrance of their graduation. That was when mike made sure the camera was ready. He got down on one knee and the rest is history.
Nicole & Mike are to be wed in August of 2021 with their family and closest friends at the beautiful Park Chateau. I am absolutely delighted to be able to witness and be apart of their story and to have been able to capture this special time for them. They introduced the city they love so much in their session. From the skyline view, I then photographed the two strolling the cobblestone streets in Hoboken. A beautiful couple a extravagant view, and a big city with big love.
