Destination Wedding at France Wedding Venue | Château de Vallery

One of the many benefits of being a destination wedding photographer, is I’m just about ready to go anywhere. From across the country to across the world, I am there to capture all different love stories. It quite literally is my job! On this particular trip, we flew off to the land of croissants, baguettes & a whole lotta perfume. If you haven’t guessed it… we’re talking about France! A destination location that so many aspire to go to and I finally can see why. Its beauty, culture and history truly makes this one of the most beautiful places in the world. Honestly, I’m still pinching myself to this day. This intimate styled destination wedding that my good friend Jess and some amazing vendors were able to put together was next level beautiful and I am so excited to be sharing it with you today. Château de Vallery

Located one hour outside of the romantic city of Paris, this wedding venue is an actual princesses dream come true. Château de Vallery is a castle unlike any other and holds so much beauty & character inside and out. Some of the many amenities included at this venue are:

  • 4 Grand Halls

  • 28 Rooms

  • Heated Swimming Pool

  • Tennis Court

  • Torch-Lit Evenings

  • Music until Dawn

  • and even more

Château de Vallery pulls most of it’s inspiration from the Renaissance era which truly speaks to all of its beauty and decor. This wedding venue is an absolute must have if you’re someone looking for a true fairytale wedding. You are able to feel like a true princess on one of the most special moments of your life and is why I would highly recommend booking this venue if you’re one looking for a destination wedding.

Jess and I had so much fun driving the largest vehicle in Paris ( a 4 door sedan ) to gather the rentals for this gorgeous styled wedding that turned out PHENOMENAL, if I do say so myself. The weather really came through for us and it felt so unreal to even be there. The florals, rentals, models and artists that all came together to make this day possible were true blessings and we couldn’t have pulled off some a gorgeous day without them.

Why Book a Destination Wedding?

Now you’re probably thinking “why would I ever book a destination wedding to begin with?”. While there are many different factors that need to be weighed when looking to decide to book a destination wedding, one thing you have to admit is that they sure are beautiful. Destination weddings are the ultimate getaway for the adventurous at heart and looking for something unique, adventurous and different for their wedding day.

Some of the benefits of a destination wedding:

  • Opportunity to spend time with those you care about

  • Your photos will be * chefs kiss * amazing

  • You can have more variety of settings to choose from

  • At times, destination weddings can be less expensive than traditional weddings in the US

  • You can combine your wedding & honeymoon

I’m not saying that you need to book a flight to Europe right this second… or maybe that is what I’m saying? Nonetheless, with everything that has happened over the past few years I think now more than ever couples are wanting to spread their wings and head to new places. If you’re someone who thought that getting married in Europe or some destination location was ever a possibility… think again. The world is HUGE and it’s ready to be seen.
