You know when it’s that time of year and you’re scrolling past the channels on tv and notice those corny (but totally sweet and cute) Hallmark movies? Well for Kelly & Tom, those classic Hallmark movie feels are exactly what you get during their Hallmark Style Engagement Session at Renault Winery.

For Kelly and Tom, we really wanted to do something that showcased their personalities and something much more casual & laidback. When planning your engagement photos, it can be easy to have this perception of what an engagement session “should” be. Many people think that having your engagement photos is all about fancy dresses in a really pretty location. While location to some extent does matter, your engagement session does NOT have to be outside of your comfort zone. In all actuality, your engagement session should be a reflection of what you both enjoy and feel comfortable in. This case with Kelly and Tom we chose to take their engagement photos at Renault Winery, which couldn’t have been more perfect.
Renault Winery
The Renault Winery resort is a premier vineyard destination filled with amazing cuisine, golf course, festivals and of course… fine wine. This venue makes for the PERFECT venue for not only engagement photos, but wedding as well. It is the perfect wedding venue if you’re looking for luxury and elegance and they truly go above and beyond for all of their couples. 10/10 if you’re looking for an amazing wedding venue, check out Renault Winery!
On this day of Kelly and Tom’s engagement session, Renault Winery was holding their Vintner Wonderland festival. It is a celebration for the winery and also a time where they encourage you to gather loved ones to enjoy and savor the season with fun activities. These activities include live entertainment and music, ice skating, local vendors and festive food and beverage! This festival was the perfect excuse to get some amazing photos of Kelly and Tom and I couldn’t have been happier with how they turned out. We of course had to soak up all of the amazing decor and how beautiful the venue was set up and then we headed for the ice. You may notice that I indeed was NOT on skates, but of course I was there for moral support - LOL. Before ending their session we even were able to do a quick outfit change, which if you have time for during your session I highly recommend!
Overall this hallmark style engagement session with Kelly and Tom was a major success. I absolutely loved the energy that was radiating off of them and they were absolute naturals in front of the camera. Although, I do have to be fair to myself and say I’m pretty fun to work with (maybe a bit biased…). Congratulations Kelly and Tom on your engagement and I can’t wait to celebrate your wedding!
