New Jersey Wedding at Renault Winery

For those of you who don’t know, Renault Winery has got to be one of my top favorite New Jersey wedding venues. They not only have the utmost impeccable service and amenities for your wedding but the interior and exterior are just beautiful. Seriously, this wedding venue is one that many of my couples strive to book their weddings at. Back in December of 2020, I received an inquiry from Megan and Cody. Of course, when I saw they were having their wedding at Renault Winery, I immediately was intrigued. After meeting with Megan and Cody on our consultation call it was as if the universe was saying we needed to work together… and I’m so happy we did. This New Jersey wedding at Renault Winery with Megan and Cody had the most beautiful wedding details, stunning decor, and of course an excited couple just waiting to get married.

New Jersey Wedding at Renault Winery

Megan and Cody both got ready at the hotel rooms located at Renault Winery. Getting ready the morning of your wedding can arguably be one of the most exciting and stressful moments of your entire wedding day. It’s important to be completely prepared for the hecticness that you will walk into! For 5 tips on how to prepare for your wedding day, click here! The most important thing to remember is to soak up this moment with friends & family and whatever you do… try not to stress! You’re getting married after all, and you don’t want to spend the morning feeling stressed out of your mind on such a special occasion.

While CSP’s second photographer went to hang with the boys while they got ready, I stayed with Megan and her bridesmaids. We took a few detail photos and some group photos with her and her bridesmaids wearing matching PJ sets β€” it was the absolute cutest! Megan’s mom helped her slip into her dress before gearing up for the first looks! Megan chose to have a first look with her bridesmaids first, which based on their reactions you can see went very well - lol. First looks don’t always have to be with your partner, but they can also be with your wedding party and your parent as well! Shortly after, Megan met up with her soon-to-be husband, Cody, for their first look in the Renault Winery lobby. Many people think that first looks β€œruin the moment” of the ceremony, but that’s just the furthest thing from the truth. In fact, first looks tend to enhance the moment that much more… but I will get into that another day.

Wedding Portraits

Typically your wedding day timeline is completely determined by a few different things. When you’re starting your ceremony, when you’re starting to get ready and whether or not you’re having a first look. These timelines will always be discussed by your wedding photographer btw, so don’t worry! In this case, since Megan and Cody chose to have a first look it made more sense to have their portraits before the ceremony.

Since Renault Winery has so much elegance and charm, we chose to take their wedding portraits indoors. Their beautiful artwork and architecture speaks for itself and really was a beautiful backdrop for their wedding portraits. We then had the wedding party join us for the remainder of their portraits before everyone gathering to head to the ceremony.

Ceremony & Reception

Megan and Cody’s wedding ceremony was held in the Vineyard Ballroom here at Renault Winery. The circular grand chandeliers and the wooden beams transport you into the French countryside, which is oh so beautiful. The ballroom overlooks the gardens on the property and was the perfect ceremony location for M+C. Surrounded by so much love, Megan and Cody repeated their vows and were officially married β€” woohoo! Through all of the craziness of 2020, and waiting 2 years to get married the moment was pure perfection.

Afterwards, the ceremony space was transformed into their gorgeous reception space! We enjoyed some beautiful speeches and first dances with Megan and her dad and Cody with his mom. Shortly after all of the traditional festivities is when the dance floor broke out and the cowboy hats came into play. Yes… you read that right. To spice up the dance floor, Megan and her bridesmaids wore matching cowboy hats which all I can say to this is - yes.
